Join the Syracuse Gay & Lesbian Chorus as we celebrate 35 years of music, pride, and community with our Pride concert, To SYR with LOVE. This joyful anniversary performance honors our history, our resilience, and the many voices that have shaped SGLC over the decades. Expect powerful music, heartfelt moments, and the unmistakable spirit of Pride—shared with love, gratitude, and hope for the future.

Our 2025 Holiday Concert, “Merry Everything — A Celebration of Light, Belonging, and Joy,” was held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 2 p.m.  The concerts were held at the May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society, 3800 E. Our 2025 Pride Concert, ‘The Show Must Go On!’, was held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.  The concerts were held at the May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society, located at 3800 E. Our 2024 Pride Concert, Change the World, took place on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 7 p.m. The concert was held at the May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society, located at 3800 E. Our “Winter Lights” holiday concert dates were Friday, December 15, 2023, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 2 p.m. The concert took place at the May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society, located at 3800 E. Our “Rainbows & Blue Skies” Pride Concert dates were Friday and Saturday, June 9 and 10, 2023, at the May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society, 3800 E. Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13214. Our Friday and Saturday concerts are available on YouTube.

Events

The Syracuse Gay & Lesbian Chorus sang at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo’s Holiday Nights, a festive after-hours event where sparkling holiday lights transform the zoo into a winter wonderland. SGLC performed on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 5:30 pm to 7:15 pm, sharing seasonal music and holiday cheer with visitors throughout the evening at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo at Burnet Park.

SGLC participated in A Choral Festival of Hope, Peace, and Social Justice, which brought together three choruses on October 19, 2025, at 4 pm in the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 17 William Street, Auburn, NY, 13021. SGLC sang at  Westcott Street Cultural Fair on September 28, 2025,  at 1 pm on the Belly Dancing Stage on South Beech Street.

The New York State Fair 2025 Pride Day was Friday, August 22, 2025, at 3 pm. SGLC performed in the Empire Theater, located within the Harriet Mays Mill building, also known as the Wegman’s Arts and Home Building.

SGLC sang at the Flag-Raising Ceremony at Syracuse City Hall, Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 11 to 11:30 a.m., 233 E Washington St, Syracuse, NY 13202. 

SGLC performed holiday music for Holiday Nights at Rosamond Gifford Zoo at Burnett Park on Saturday, December 20, 2024, from 6:45 pm to 7:15 pm.
