Who We Are
The Syracuse Gay & Lesbian Chorus is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt community organization dedicated to creating spaces where people can sing, belong, and share their voices. We value shared leadership: our bylaws ensure gender balance on the Board of Directors, and members help guide the chorus through open discussions and active committees, including music selection, concert planning, membership, publicity, and development.
We welcome adults 18 and older who support the mission and spirit of the chorus—whether you identify as LGBTQ+, an ally, or simply someone who loves music and community. Our membership includes people of many backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. Everyone who walks through our doors is invited to participate fully and authentically.
